Alfredo’s Bar, aka Alfie’s
Alfie’s Bar is the chosen place for Strathclyde Gooners to meet up in Glasgow when The Arsenal is shown on TV.
Alfie’s is located at 146 West Nile Street, G1 2RQ. This is a few minutes north of Glasgow Queen’s Street and the Bus Station.
The sign outside says Alfredo’s Bar and it’s original owner, Alfredo Lazurri, put the place on the map as a sports bar by being the first to host a friendly game by satellite, Italy vs Scotland. Open for over 25 years Alfredo’s became well known for its quality served pints and traditional Scottish food using quality locally sourced ingredients.
Marco is now in charge, always happy to give Gooners a very warm welcome. Tables are reserved for every Arsenal match which is broadcast on TV. We are looked after very well.
