On the 21st May, my Wife Bernie and I had the honour and privilege to attend the Legends & Youth Ball at the Emirates Stadium as representatives of Arsenal Scotland. This was due to our supporters club being one of the five largest fundraisers for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

On 27th March Arsenal Scotland hosted a black-tie Sportsman’s Dinner in Edinburgh to raise funds for The Willow Foundation. The event attended by 140 guests took place at the prestigious Barcelo Edinburgh Carlton Hotel and the guest speakers were Arsenal and Scotland Legends Frank McLintock and Bob Wilson.

After over a month of knowing that me and 7 other ASSC members would get the chance to grace the hallowed turf of The Emirates, the day final arrived. The team consisted of Myself as Player manager, Dan Smith, Chris Carruthers, Chris Kenmore, Chris Pullinger, John Findlay, Seyhan Azak & Chris Durling (who unfortunately mixed up his flights therefore never managed to make it down). |

To honour David Danskin, the founder and first captain of Arsenal FC, Arsenal Scotland Supporters Club and the Burntisland Heritage Trust organised a commemorative blue plaque ceremony on Monday 23rd July 2007. |
